Negri Bossi is one of the leading suppliers of Plastic Injection Moulding Machines in Europe and are delighted to have many very important and prestigious customers whom they entertain each year at their annual golf day.

In 2007 Negri Bossi contacted Mark Mouland with a view to Mark organising and attending the golf day for that years event. Mark was delighted to do so and below is a summary of how the day went.

Mark started the operation a month before the actual day by sending each of the attendees this document by both email and hard copy.

What better way to start the day than play a round of golf? That is exactly what Negri Bossi is inviting you to do at this year's Negri Bossi Annual Golf Day.

The event is being held on Thursday the 5th July at Staverton Park Golf Club - a mature, championship golf course set in 140 acres of beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. With 4 small lakes and 64 American-style sand traps, the course provides a challenge to all players regardless of handicap.

Special Attraction for 2008

We are delighted to announce that Negri Bossi has secured the services of European Tour Professional Mark Mouland to attend this year's event and ensure that the day will be one to remember.

Mark's Profile:

Born in St. Athan, Wales, his father Sid was a six times Welsh champion. Mark won the 1976 British Boys Championship, and remains the youngest ever to do so at just 15 years old, in 1977 was the BBC's Junior Sportsman of the Year and turned professional in 1981. By 1986 he was well established on the European Tour, winning that year's Car Care Plan International and finishing 30th on the Order of Merit. He broke his right ankle and left foot in a motorway crash that year, but recovered to record two top twenty Order of Merit finishes in 1987 (16th) and 1988 (18th).

Mark has enjoyed one of the longest careers in European Tour history with over 520 tournament appearances. With 4 victories - the Car Care Plan International, Dutch Open and Mauritius Open (2002 & 2003) as well as 15 representative appearances for Wales in the World Cup and Dunhill Cup competitions he brings with him a wealth of international golfing experience and knowledge.

Always recognised for a great short game, Mark was the No 1 putter on the European Tour two years in succession and still holds the record of just 19 putts in a round of tournament golf.

Mark has played with all the top professional golfers including Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo, Ian Woosnam as well as the late Payne Stewart and is happy to relate his experiences to the Negri Bossi golfers at this year's event.

10:00 am - The day will kick off with coffee and bacon rolls in the clubhouse.

11:00 am - Mark will be giving a golf clinic between 11:00 and 11:30 where he will be demonstrating his skills hitting different types of golf shots both on the driving range and on the short game practice area. Be assured that this is an opportunity that should not be missed.

11:30 am - Commence tee times from both the 1st and 10th tees. Please be ready to play from this time onwards. Mark will be playing one hole of golf with each 3 ball and prizes will be awarded to anyone beating Mark's score on that hole (use your shots wisely).

19:00 pm - Dinner.

20:30 pm - Prize giving followed by a Q&A session with Mark where you can feel free to ask Mark about his golfing experiences.
